Masahiro Takahashi is from Tokyo, Japan. He became involved with the Tokyo’s underground music scene while he was working in the Japanese comic industry. He has been residing in Vancouver and Montreal since August 2012 and has been performing with Vancouver duo Half Chinese. His music combines and experiments with acoustics and electronics, solo and collaboration, beautiful melodies, chord progressions and noise, stillness and motion, happiness and sadness, and high spirits.
